Can I water today?

Fresno, Clovis and Kerman all use the same odd/even schedule. Tap your house number and you will know in one second.

What does your house number end in?

Example: 123 Main St ends in 3, so it is odd. 456 Oak Ave ends in 6, so it is even.

Tap odd or even and we will tell you if you can water today.

For our recurring customers

Your timer, set for the season. On us.

When the schedule switches on November 1 and again on April 1, we set your sprinkler timer for the new season at no charge. It is our thank-you to the customers who stay with us, and you never have to dig out the manual.

  • Complimentary timer settings each season: the right days for your address
  • We keep an eye on it: if a spot looks too soggy or too dry, we reach out and let you know
  • Mowed, edged and blown clean every 2 weeks, same crew, same day
  • Photos from the visit when anything needs your attention

How our maintenance plans work

Doing it yourself? Switch your timer in 5 steps

On November 1 every address drops to one day a week. Most timers do not know that. (New to timers? Start with our step-by-step sprinkler timer guide.)

  1. Find the days setting

Usually called "Water Days" or "Start Days", or a grid of days inside each program.

  2. Pick your one day

Saturday if your house number ends in an odd digit, Sunday if it ends in an even one. Clear the rest.

  3. Start before 10 AM

Early morning, 4 to 8 AM, is still best in winter.

  4. Cut run times about in half

Cool days need less. Many controllers have a seasonal adjust slider for this.

  5. Check every program

Leftover days in Program B or C are the most common way a yard keeps watering three days a week by accident.

Crew tip: after you reprogram, run each zone for a minute and walk the yard. The November switch is when we find the most dead zones. Zone not coming on? We fix those.

Never set a timer before? The 6 settings every timer has

Orbit, B-hyve, Hunter: the screens differ, the steps do not.

  1. Auto

Where the dial lives. Leave it here every time you walk away, or nothing runs on its own.

  2. Clock

The right time and date, AM or PM. If the clock is wrong, every other setting is wrong too.

  3. Program A

A program is one watering plan. Use Program A. B and C are for special cases.

  4. Start times

How many times a day the program runs. Two is plenty. Every station runs one after another from each start time.

  5. Run times

How many minutes each station runs. Lawn and flower beds get different minutes.

  6. Watering days

Which days of the week it runs. Set them to your city's schedule for your address.
