Terms of Service
Terms of Service
The rules for using our website and online services, in plain words.
These terms
Suarez Lawn Services LLC ("we," "us") owns this website. We provide lawn maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, and installation services in the Fresno, California area. CSLB #1151584.
When you use this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It is part of these terms.
Using the website
You can use this site to learn about our services, ask for quotes, sign up for service, pay, and apply for a job. When you use it, you agree to:
- Give true and correct information, including your name, phone number, and service address.
- Send requests only for a property that you own or have permission to manage.
- Not use the site for anything illegal, harmful, or misleading.
- Not try to get into private parts of the site, such as other customers’ accounts or our team’s tools.
- Not scrape the site with automated tools, overload it, or interfere with how it works.
We can change, pause, or remove any part of the site at any time.
Quotes and estimates
Online prices, calculators, and quotes are estimates. They are not a final price.
A price is final only when we confirm it in writing: a written estimate, a service agreement, a payment link with the price, or the checkout page that you accept.
An estimate depends on the information and photos you give us. If the real job is different (for example, the size, the access, or hidden problems like pipes or roots), we tell you and confirm the change with you before we charge for it.
Online plans, booking, and payments
You can sign up for a recurring mowing plan online. Before you pay, the checkout page shows the plan, the price per visit, and the service schedule. Those details, plus these terms, are our agreement for that plan.
- Stripe, our payment processor, handles card payments. We do not store your full card number.
- On a recurring plan, we charge the card on file on your service day, as shown at checkout.
- Plans have no long-term contract. You can pause or cancel at any time. Call or text the office. When you cancel, future visits and charges stop.
- If a payment fails, we email you a secure link to update your card.
- We charge for extra work (for example, trimming bushes) only when you ask for it or approve it.
For some jobs, we send a secure payment link. The link shows the full price and any deposit. If you save a card on the link, you authorize us to charge the agreed balance when we finish the job, as the link explains.
Some one-time payment links accept a payment from a bank account (ACH). A bank payment takes a few business days to complete.
Have a question about a charge? Call us first. We fix it fast.
Text messages (SMS)
When you ask for a quote, sign up for service, book an appointment, or apply for a job, you can agree to get text messages from Suarez Lawn Services.
- What we send: messages about your request or service, such as your quote, a link to upload photos, scheduling, reminders, service and payment updates, and answers to your questions. Job applicants get messages about their application.
- How often: message frequency varies with your request or service.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to stop getting messages.
- Reply HELP for help, or call (559) 809-1230.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- You do not have to agree to text messages to buy our services.
We do not share or sell mobile information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Job applications
A job application does not create a job offer or a contract. We read every application, but we do not promise an interview or a job.
If we hire you, your employment is "at will." This means that you or we can end the employment at any time, with or without cause or notice, as California law allows.
You agree to give true information on your application.
Photos and content you send us
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, notes, and other files that you send us. When you send them, you give us permission to use them to prepare your quote, plan and do the job, document the work, and keep our records.
Send only content that you have the right to share. Do not send anything illegal or offensive.
If you send us a video testimonial, you give us permission to show it, with the name you give, on our website and in our marketing.
Intellectual property
Suarez Lawn Services LLC or its licensors own this site and its content: text, photos, videos, logos, the Sua-Rex character, designs, and code. Do not copy, sell, or use them for business purposes without our written permission.
You are welcome to share links to our pages.
Disclaimers
We provide the site "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it correct and running, but we do not promise that it is always available or free of errors.
Our lawn tips, watering guides, and calculators are general information only. They do not replace an inspection of your property. Always follow your city and water district rules.
The site links to services from other companies, such as Google Maps and Stripe. Those companies have their own terms. We are not responsible for their sites or services.
Our warranty and responsibility for work on your property come from your written estimate or service agreement and from California law. These website disclaimers do not reduce them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Suarez Lawn Services LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that come from your use of the website.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about your use of the website is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is more.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow a limit, for example, for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
Governing law
The laws of the State of California govern these terms.
Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Fresno County, California, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Before you file a claim, please call us. Most problems end with one phone call.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
