What information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, in plain words.
Who we are
Suarez Lawn Services LLC ("we," "us") is a lawn care and landscaping company in Clovis, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
It covers this website, our online forms and payments, our text messages, and job applications. It does not cover our employees’ HR records, which we handle separately.

What we collect
We collect information that you give us, information that your device sends when you visit, and some information from our service providers.
Quote and service requests
This includes our quote form, photo requests, office appointments, specials, and our truck page. We collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- The service address and its map location (we look it up with Google Maps).
- The services you want, your answers about the yard, and your notes, such as gate codes, locked gates, or pets.
- Photos that you upload, such as photos of your yard or of a mailer card.
- For office appointments: the day you prefer, the project size, and your project description.
- If you do not pay online: the payment method you prefer, such as Zelle or cash.
Online plans and payments
- When you sign up for a plan or pay a link, you go to a secure Stripe checkout page. Stripe collects your card or bank details. We never see or store your full card number.
- We send Stripe your name, email, phone, service address, and plan details. Stripe tells us whether a payment went through.
- If you start checkout but do not finish, we keep the details you entered so we can follow up.
- When you approve a job link, we record the name you type as your signature, your email, the agreement text you saw, the time, and your IP address.
- If you use a referral code, we record the code and the customer who shared it.
Job applications
- Your name, phone number, email, city, earliest start date, and languages.
- Your answers to our yes-or-no questions, for example, whether you have a driver’s license, are 18 or older, and are authorized to work in the U.S.
- Your experience, the equipment you have used, your written answers, and your résumé if you attach one.
- How you heard about the job, the link that brought you to our site, and your browser type.
- If you apply on Indeed, we receive the profile and messages that you send through Indeed.
Our application does not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, criminal history, or salary history.
Reviews and feedback
- If you send feedback, we collect your rating, your message, and the name and contact details that you choose to give.
- If you record a video testimonial, we collect the video and the name that you give.
Text messages, calls, and email
When you call, text, or email us, we keep your phone number or email address, the messages, and any photos you send.
Website use
When you visit our website, our own analytics system records:
- The pages you visit, the buttons you tap, how far you scroll, and how long you stay.
- The website or ad that sent you, including campaign tags in the link.
- Your device type, screen size, and browser.
- Your approximate location (city, region, and country), from your IP address. We store your IP address only in a shortened or scrambled form.
- A random visitor ID and visit ID. They do not contain your name.
- Addresses that you type into our price and scheduling tools, with their map location, even if you do not send the form. This shows us where people want service. If you send a request later, we can connect the two.
When you scan one of our QR codes (on our trucks, cards, or signs), we record the time, your approximate location from your IP address, your device and browser type, and a one-way code made from your IP address and browser.
Cookies and browser storage
- Our cookie "sls_vid" holds your random visitor ID. It lasts up to 2 years.
- Your browser saves your progress on our forms (including your name, phone, email, and address) during your visit, so you do not lose your work. If you go to checkout, your browser keeps those details for up to 24 hours, so we can help if you cancel.
- Other browser storage keeps track of your visit, campaign tags, and settings such as your watering-day choice.
- Google sets its own cookies (such as "_ga") through the Google tag. See "Google Analytics and Google Ads" below.
Information from other sources
- Google Maps confirms and completes the addresses that you type.
- Stripe tells us about your payments.
- Indeed sends us job applications made there.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Answer your questions and prepare your quote.
- Schedule and do the work, and send our crews to the right address.

Text messages
When you send a request or book online, you can agree to get text messages from Suarez Lawn Services about that request. Job applicants agree to texts or calls about their application.
- We text you about your request, booking, or service: for example, a link to upload photos, booking confirmations, schedule reminders, and changes to your plan.

How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires. Our policy:
- Customer records (requests, service history, photos, messages, and payment records): while you are a customer, and up to 7 years after your last service, for tax, accounting, warranty, and legal needs.
- Requests that do not become a job: up to 3 years, so we know your property if you contact us again.
- Job applications and résumés: 4 years from the date we receive them, as California law requires. Then we delete them.
- Detailed website visit records: about 14 days. Summary reports, visitor IDs, and addresses typed into our price tools: as long as they help us plan routes and services.
- Cards saved with Stripe: until you ask us to remove them.
When you ask us to delete information, we delete it, unless the law lets or requires us to keep it.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information:

- Stripe handles card and bank details. Those details never reach our servers.
- Only people who need it can see customer records and job applications. Our staff tools need a login.
- Résumés are private files. Only our office can open them, through links that expire.
No system is 100% secure. If we learn of a security breach that affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text from us.
